Dr. Jarosław Bełdowski co-authors the chapter in the book entitled “New Developments in Competition Law and Economics” (© Springer, 2019) published further to the 7th Law and Economics Conference organized by the University of Lucerne and the University of Notre Dame on 13-14 April 2018 in Lucerne.

The authors describe the deregulation of professions (civil notary, tourist guide and taxi driver) in Poland. They take an interesting look at the historical developments of the regulation of profession over the last 25 years (1989-2018) and describe the impact deregulation has had on competition in services provided by representatives of the above-mentioned professions.
