Paris—Dentons’ Paris office has announced a pro bono partnership with Droits d’Accès, an association which promotes equal opportunities and social inclusion for young people attending schools in the suburbs of Paris. As part of its support, volunteer lawyers from Dentons will run legal workshops at the Guy Môquet secondary school in Gennevilliers. 

The first workshop introduces students to the legal profession, through interactive discussions between lawyers and students on the notion of law. The next two workshops will focus on the freedom of expression, and will include case studies and role-playing.

Students, teachers and volunteer lawyers will come together for a final event in the spring of 2020.  Selected students will then be invited to complete an internship at Dentons.

This new partnership reinforces Dentons' commitment to providing pro bono legal support to associations working for equal opportunities and the rights of young people.
