Nurit Altman

Partner, Brookfield Financial

Nurit Altman is a Partner with Brookfield Financial, and joined the team in 2006. Nurit is responsible for the marketing and sales of retail, office, and mixed use property transactions. Prior to joining Brookfield Financial, Nurit was a sales representative with Cushman & Wakefield, where she focused on retail investment sales and leasing.

Nurit has over 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, over which time she has been involved in such landmark transactions as the sale of 150 Bloor Street West in Toronto, Ontario, Royal Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, 70 York Street in Toronto, Ontario and the Sobeys Portfolio in Eastern Canada. During her career, Nurit has completed over $5 billion of transactions.

Michael Davies

Partner, Dentons

With more than thirty years of financing experience, Michael Davies has represented a diversified group of institutional lenders, banks, real estate investment trusts, pension funds, investors and financial intermediaries in connection with domestic and cross-border financings, bank credit facilities, subordinated debt, loan syndications, inter-creditor arrangements, project financing, mortgage bonds and other fixed income financing, including the restructuring of such financings.

Michael has also been extensively involved in the development and implementation of capital market platforms in connection with project financing and privatization. He has advised on projects to construct highways, recycling and waste facilities, hotels, office and commercial properties, hospitals and the privatization of services or businesses previously owned by government agencies.

As counsel to Ogier in the Cayman Islands, Michael has advised clients in the establishment and financing of offshore structured finance vehicles and hedge funds.

Michael has instructed at the Ontario Bar Admission course and lectured on business law at the Department of Management at the University of Toronto School of Business.

Colin Vollick

Colin is a senior member of RBC’s Commercial Mortgage Team serving clients in the Greater Toronto Area. He has over 25-years of experience in commercial mortgage finance involving apartment, industrial, retail and office properties, with particular expertise in CMHC-Insured financing and retirement homes. Prior to joining RBC, Colin was a mortgage correspondent with a major Canadian Life Insurance company, working with clients seeking mortgage financing on a national basis.
