Kansas City, MO—Kansas City Corporate partner Frank Koranda has been named to The M&A Advisor’s 2014 "40 Under 40" list in the Legal Advisor category. The annual awards, now in its fifth year, are given to accomplished, emerging business leaders in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds and financing nationwide. An independent judging panel of business leaders selected the winners based on their accomplishments in the transactional space. Frank will be recognized for this honor at the Awards Gala in June. Frank has provided representation to over US$6 billion in completed mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions. He represents both financial and strategic buyers and sellers of businesses and product lines, primarily in the private middle market. He is part of a team of Dentons lawyers that operates as general counsel for a number of private equity funds and their subsidiaries, affiliates and portfolio companies with regard to their merger and acquisition activity as well as the day-to-day management of legal affairs. Recently, Frank has represented a diverse group of private equity funds in connection with their respective acquisition of a CPA and accounting professionals continuing education and exam preparation company, the acquisition of a pharmacy benefit management company, the acquisition of a light industrial manufacturing company, the acquisition of a spring water company, the sale of a heavy industrial manufacturing company and a large capital raise at a communications and technology company.
