Montréal—Dentons Canada LLP is proud to include in its firm members a Fellow of the Centre d’études et de recherches internationales de l’Université de Montréal (CÉRIUM).

Specializing in international trade on matters surrounding the European Union, Xavier Van Overmeire has participated since 2008 in numerous activities organized by or in collaboration with the European Union Center of Excellence of the Université de Montréal and McGill University, a unit of the CÉRIUM. In particular, Xavier contributed his expertise during the debates and negotiations related to the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, for which a principle agreement was reached in the fall of 2013. This scientific collaboration will increase within the CÉRIUM where Xavier will be able to execute scientific projects in his areas of focus.
