Dentons advised Solaque Holding Ltd (GEO Renewables Group), a leading developer of renewable energy installations, on the setting up of a joint venture together with Wind Power Invest A/S (Vestas Group), including a portfolio of project companies developing seven wind farms in Poland.

Legal services for the project encompassed, in the first stage, negotiation of an investment agreement and documentation related to financing granted by a new shareholder, and then after the President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection issued a decision clearing the merger, preparation of documentation for the transaction including the share transfer and financial closing.

Providing client advisory was Agnieszka Kulińska, managing counsel at the Energy and Natural Resources team, supported by Filip Ruciński, junior associate. Mateusz Krajewski, senior associate at the Banking and Finance Team, advised on the financial aspects of the transaction.
