Atlanta—Dentons, the world's largest law firm, today announced that partner Edward Lindsey and counsel Sam Olens successfully defended Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan in an election challenge lawsuit.

Lindsey and Olens defeated a lawsuit alleging voting machine malfunctions, which was filed despite proof that the voting machines were tested prior to and on the day of the election. Following a two-day bench trial, Senior Superior Court Judge Adele Grubbs granted a directed verdict to Lt. Gov. Duncan and co-defendants, the election boards of Fulton and Gwinnett counties, finding that there was insufficient evidence to overturn the election.
