Dentons, the world's largest law firm, has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement to become the first Official Sponsor of the World Padel Tour Amsterdam Open and of the Plaza Padel sports center in Amsterdam.

This year’s World Padel Tour Amsterdam Open tournament will take place from September 25 to October 2, 2022.

Padel is a racket sport played on an enclosed court surrounded by walls. It is similar to tennis, but the court is approximately 25% smaller than a tennis court and the balls can be played off the walls in a similar way as in the game of squash. Padel is typically played with two players per side. The Netherlands currently has over 75.000 padel players and 995 courts.
