Dentons was awarded the annual WirtschaftsWoche “Best of Legal” Award in the “Initiatives & Talents: Diversity” category for its Allyship initiative in Germany.

At the heart of the initiative are our “Allies”, who come from all areas of the firm, every location and every career level and are committed to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)—with the aim of creating an inclusive environment at Dentons in which all employees feel valued, heard and respected. The Allies’ commitment includes formats on mental health, social mobility, women’s advancement and joint campaigns with other law firms and companies to raise awareness of DEI.

The WirtschaftsWoche awards, presented for the third time this year, honor law firms in Germany with the most innovative concepts in a number of categories such as Business & Technology, Initiatives & Talent, Deals & Processes and People & Teams. The evaluation criteria by the jury include creativity, the use of new technologies and methods, interdisciplinarity, disruption and impact.
