On 12 February 2014, at an event held in Paris, Global Arbitration Review unveiled its GAR 30 list of the top 30 international arbitration law firms for 2014. Dentons was distinguished as part of that select group of firms, in 24th position this year.
This recognition is the result of important international arbitration cases handled in a number of Dentons offices. The award comes on the heels of the American Lawyer Arbitration Scorecard 2013 released in June 2013, which ranked Dentons as one of the most active international arbitration law firms for large cases for 2011 -2013 (commercial arbitration cases over US$500 million and investment treaty cases over US$100 million).
Jean-Christophe Honlet and Bart Legum, arbitration partners in the Dentons Paris office, commented: “Dentons is honoured again to be part of such a select group of law firms independently recognized by Global Arbitration Review as key players in the field. The GAR 30 award rewards work conducted by Dentons’ international arbitration lawyers on five continents regarding some of the most delicate and challenging international arbitrations of our clients.”
