Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that associate Cody Wood has been selected among Ingram’s 2020 “20 in Their Twenties.” Wood, resident in Dentons’ Kansas City office, is a member of the Federal Regulatory and Compliance practice.

Wood was one of 20 young professionals recognized as entrepreneurs and executives who set standards of excellence for their organizations. The “20 in Their Twenties” award spotlights the achievements and promise of young professionals in the Kansas City area who demonstrate entrepreneurial qualities and thinking on behalf of their employers.

Wood focuses on helping domestic and foreign clients navigate challenges arising in international commerce at the crossroads of economics, policy and the law. He maintains a diversified litigation practice, working on complex commercial disputes in both state and federal courts. Wood has made a point of mastering the international trade issues raised by the current administration’s policies, thereby guiding his clients through complex and volatile US tariff and trade policies. Clients often call on him to provide trade law–related advice and policy guidance on the US government’s tariff actions and free-trade agreements.
