Paris— Dentons Paris has advised its long-standing client Marietton Développement, a travel agent and tour operator, owner of Havas Voyage, on its acquisition of 42.5% in Bleu Voyages. 

Bleu Voyages specializes in trips for groups, associations and works councils. The group posted a turnover of €217 million in 2018, 78% of which was generated by business travel. Its CEO Jean-Pierre Lorente and his family remain the majority shareholders.

Laurent Abitbol, President of Marietton, has declared that the Bleu investment is fully in line with the group’s strategy, which is to consolidate the group through external growth in order to bring the business's revenues to € 2.0 billion.

Partner Pascal Chadenet led the M&A aspects of the deal with support from associates Marie Decrette and Margaux Fontan who advised on Corporate law.
