Zuzana Šimeková has joined Dentons as the third partner in the Bratislava office – increasing the Dentons team in Slovakia to 14 lawyers. This strengthening of the Bratislava office follows Dentons’ recent expansion in Budapest and Prague, its merger with US law firm McKenna Long & Aldridge, as well as its combination with 大成, to create the world’s largest global law firm.

Zuzana Šimeková will be a senior member of Dentons’ Competition and Life Sciences teams. She has more than 10 years of experience advising clients in the pharmaceutical sector on a variety of regulatory issues, including clinical trials, market access, pricing and reimbursement, distribution and sales models, promotion and advertising, and international compliance, as well as representing clients before regulators. Before joining Dentons, she worked for Allen & Overy as a co-head of their Life Sciences Regulatory Group in Paris. She also spent two years in A&O London, where she primarily advised pharmaceutical companies in relation to competition issues and prior to that she was a senior associate in Competition and Life Sciences team in Bratislava.

Zuzana has a Master of Laws from Comenius University in Bratislava, a JUDr. and PhD in Competition and Pharmaceutical Law from Charles University in Prague, and a LL.M. degree from the College of Europe. According to Chambers Europe 2014, she is rated a “very experienced lawyer by peers” and a highly recommended lawyer in the area of competition and antitrust.
