London—Dentons has been selected as a mentor firm in the new LGBT mentoring scheme set up by the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) and Stonewall. The aim is to help small and medium-sized law firms across England and Wales – the jurisdiction of the SRA – to develop their approaches to LGBT inclusivity.

With the support of nine other law firms – which are all top-performing law firms in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index – the SRA's aim is to recruit up to 25 firms across England and Wales to take part in a pilot and be mentored for an initial six to twelve month period.

By developing their approach to diversity and inclusion, firms involved in the scheme will be supported in attracting the best staff, as well as other business benefits such as increased networking opportunities.

Firms are encouraged to sign up to the scheme on the SRA website.
