Bucharest—Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, received the “Largest transaction in agriculture” award during the ZF Lawyers Gala 2019 (“Gala Avocatilor”), an annual event organized by the prestigious Romanian daily business Ziarul Financiar. The award ceremony, which took place on September 24, is one of the most important events for the Romanian legal community.

Dentons was awarded for successfully advising CEE Equity Partners Ltd on the sale of 15 grain silos and logistics hubs from Brise Group, one of the largest agribusiness groups in Romania, to China CEE Investment Co-operation Fund II.  The goal of the transaction was to create the First Open Access Agriculture Infrastructure Platform in Romania.
