Savoy Magazine, a leading African American lifestyle magazine, selected Dentons partner Thurbert Baker as one of the Most Influential Black Lawyers for 2022. This prestigious and comprehensive list features the “best of the best” of Black lawyers that are top partners from leading national law firms and corporate and general counsel from Fortune 1000 corporations.

Baker was selected for his professionalism, protection of rights and commitment to community service. At Dentons, he co-leads the Firm’s US State Attorney General practice and serves on the US Board as well as the Global Board and as Global Vice Chair. Clients look to Baker for advice on corporate compliance and investigations, complex state legal and legislative matters, public policy and regulatory affairs, multi-state litigation, public sector procurements and regulatory matters. Previously, Baker served as the Attorney General for the State of Georgia for 13 years under three different governors. He has been consistently selected as one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians by Georgia Trend magazine.
