Andrea Paterson is a member of Dentons’ Municipal Planning and Development group, where she provides skillful guidance to both public and private clients from the industry on various development-related matters.

Bringing more than 30 years’ experience in the development field, Andrea handles the preparation of official plan and zoning review reports, the preparation and filing of appeals to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, and advocates on behalf of clients before various committees of Council, public meetings and municipal staff. Her clients can benefit from her extensive experience and knowledge on Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendment applications, Subdivision/Condominium applications, Site Plan applications and Committee of Adjustment applications. Andrea also regularly reviews and monitors municipal and provincial policies and studies in order to keep solicitors and their clients apprised of changes affecting development projects.

Andrea is a full member of both the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Provincial Planners Institute, and was a Planner with the former City of Scarborough.
