Chandler is a member of Dentons’ Energy practice, specializing in regulatory compliance and litigation matters regarding the operation, construction, and/or acquisition of energy. He regularly advises clients on compliance, transaction, and litigation matters as a part of the firm’s energy and litigation team.
Chandler first joined Dentons as a legal assistant and then summer associate working with Energy and Commercial Litigation partners in our Kansas City office. Before Dentons, he specialized in contract review for off-shore labor capabilities and spent time at MidAmerican Energy focusing on intellectual property, property rights, contract disputes, statutory interpretations, litigation, and environmental regulation.
Chandler earned his Master of Laws in International Business and European Union Law at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain. He was captain of the European Court of Human Rights Moot Court team which was one of eighteen teams in the world to qualify for the final oral round at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. Simultaneously, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he also participated in the International Jessup Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, Chandler received multiple bachelor’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma in international business, accounting and pre-law. He was a member of the debate team.
