Fraser Mackinnon Blair (He/Him/His) is a partner in Dentons’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in Ottawa. He has assisted local, regional and national clients in a variety of corporate, commercial, tendering, contractual, construction, leasing, real estate development, professional negligence, insolvency and products liability disputes.

Fraser has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada, and has worked on other matters before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Newfoundland and Labrador Court of Appeal, the Quebec Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Appeal.

Confidential Client: Advising as counsel on product liability claims (cross-border, defendant, insured and uninsured) involving product design, manufacture and warning litigation, as well as ancillary regulatory obligations (confidential products).
Confidential Client: Advising Court-Appointed Receiver in connection with wind-down of non-profit organization.
Confidential Clients: Advising numerous clients (plaintiff and defendant) in relation to oppression remedy and director liability claims brought pursuant to the OBCA and CBCA.

Confidential Clients: Advising contractors and product manufacturers (plaintiff and defendant, insured and uninsured) in single and multi-party construction and professional negligence litigation involving architects, engineers and designers regarding product (floor, roof) and design deficiencies.
Confidential Client: Defending insured geotechnical engineer in multi-party dispute involving design of feedermain and water-removal project.
