As the second in our series of flyers on the changes to the pensions arena brought in or soon to be introduced under the Pension Schemes Act 2021, this is our overview of the new DB funding requirements.

Similarly to the Pension Regulator (tPR)'s new powers, there is some detail to be confirmed in regulations and tPR is still to publish its finalised DB Funding Code. However, there are useful matters to highlight at this stage, which we think that trustees should be starting to consider in funding discussions.
