Matthew Literovich

Matthew Literovich is a partner in Dentons’ Corporate group. Based in Toronto, he has significant experience in the technology, life sciences, and charities spaces.

Matthew works extensively with emerging companies and investors as a part of the Firm’s Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies group. He advises on incorporations, shareholder matters, reorganizations, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate-commercial issues that may arise.

Matthew’s background in corporate strategy not only allows him to grasp a deeper understanding of clients’ businesses, but also gives clients the benefit of his sound judgment and strong negotiation skills to help them achieve their goals.

Experience

Tornado Spectral Systems Inc: Acted for Canadian manufacturer, designer and distributor of Raman spectroscopy systems primarily used in pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and biotechnology applications, on its acquisition by Bruker Corporation.
StackAdapt Inc.: Acted for StackAdapt on the 2022 investment in StackAdapt shares by Summit Partners.
Composer Technologies Inc.: Represented the client in leading the Seed Round Financing.
Pitchpoint Solutions Inc.: Acted as lead partner in the unit financing of preferred shares, warrants and promissory notes offered on a pro-rata basis to the existing shareholders of the company (deal value of CA$1.6 million).
Regional Municipality of Niagara: Acted as counsel in connection with its Niagara Transit Project.
Twig Fertility Holdings Inc.: Acted as counsel on its strategic CA$8M Series A funding by Rhino Group and related commercial collaboration.
