Québec’s Bill 64 An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards to the protection of personal information, is starting to come into effect on September 22nd 2022. This new Act fundamentally changes the privacy regulatory framework introducing enforcement measures with significant financial penalties for non-compliance. Developing mitigation strategies and understanding recourses will be critical in managing risk.
