Dentons co-organized the second Ukrainian Gas Investment Forum '17 that took place in Kyiv on 23 March. The Forum created a platform for public debate and successfully brought together more than 250 representatives of the Ukrainian gas sector, international financial institutions, professional associations, foreign embassies and major media to discuss the current situation and prospects for the sector and the transition to a new level of market development.

The conference was particularly relevant due to the ongoing development and growth of the gas market in Ukraine, as well as the challenges currently facing the industry.  The key themes of the event were  the strategy of gas production development in the context of energy security of Ukraine, recent reforms and their effects, changes and potential changes in legislation, the production and sale of gas in Ukraine, potential investment opportunities, and financing.

Participants had a unique opportunity to expand their network of international partners, to meet with potential institutional and private investors, and communicate with colleagues in the course of the formal and informal parts of the event.
