Global law firm Dentons has advised TEDOM Group on Schnell Motoren’s acquisition of a majority share in PlanET Service GmbH from PlanET Biogastechnik GmbH. Schnell Motoren is a German manufacturer of dual fuel combined heat and power (CHP) systems for biogas plants, which was acquired by Czech-based TEDOM Group in 2016.

The transaction is an important step forward in Schnell Motoren’s plans to expand its services in Germany and the Netherlands. The acquisition of PlanET Service GmbH will enhance the company’s capacity to provide high quality services in planning, constructing and maintaining biogas and block-type thermal power plants.

The closing of the transaction took place on 29 September 2017; the transaction value remains confidential.

Dentons advised TEDOM comprehensively on all corporate, M&A and employment law aspects of the transaction.
