Los Angeles—Dentons, the world's largest law firm, today named Bety Javidzad as a partner in its award-winning and growing Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. She focuses her practice on litigating complex commercial disputes, and will be resident in the Firm's Los Angeles office. Javidzad strengthens Dentons' litigation, class actions, and venture technology and emerging growth companies capabilities.

Javidzad represents her clients in breach of contract, business tort, unfair competition, false advertising, and intellectual property related litigation, as well as in consumer class action defense. She has a growing national and international clientele across a variety of industries, including fintech, financial services, blockchain, fashion and retail, advertising, media and digital media, food and beverage, dietary supplements, and other consumer products.

In addition to her practice, Javidzad is active in civic and charitable organizations. She sits on the board of directors and chairs the nominating committee of the Los Angeles chapter of the Israel Cancer Research Fund, the largest North American charity devoted exclusively to supporting cancer research in Israel. She serves on the advisory board of the Institute for Corporate Counsel and is an active alumna of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law, where she is involved with UCLA Law Women LEAD and serves as a representative on the UCLA Law Firm Challenge.

Javidzad holds both a JD and a BA, summa cum laude, from UCLA, where she served on the Entertainment Law Review. She previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson of the Central District of California.
