Warsaw—On 21 June 2018, an event inaugurating the Polish edition of the Dentons Women LEAD (Leadership, Entrepreneurism, Advancement, Development) initiative, took place at the Warsaw gallery of the Union of Polish Art Photographers ZPAF in Warsaw’s Old Town. Dentons female lawyers invited their clients, notably female representatives of the legal departments and management boards of Dentons key clients.

The first meeting of the Polish edition was devoted to portrait photography. The participants were presented with the inspiring story of Julia Margaret Cameron, an outstanding British photographer who started her artistic career as a 48-year-old mother of six children. Iga Niewiadomska, a graduate of Sotheby's Institute of Art in London, who cooperates with Dentons on a daily basis in the firm’s strategic litigation program, talked about this pioneer of 19th century photography.

Magdalena Wdowicz-Wierzbowska, a photographer and current President of ZPAF in Warsaw, also presented her works.
