Dentons Canada is honoured to be recognized for the seventh straight year as a top 10 leading law firm brand in Canada in Acritas’ recently-released Canada Law Firm Brand Index 2018.

Now in its seventh year, the index measures the brand strength of law firms across six metrics: top-of-mind awareness, favourability, consideration for top-level deals and for litigation, overall usage among Canadian organizations, and usage among multinational firms with interests in Canada.

Index methodology

The Index uses data collected from an independent telephone survey conducted between January and November 2017 of 250 Canadian organizations and a further 99 multinationals outside of Canada with legal needs in the country. Of the respondents, 50 percent were from Ontario, 19 percent were from Alberta, 16 percent were from Québec, 9 percent were from British Columbia, and 6 percent were from the other provinces and territories.
