London—Dentons has been appointed to the inaugural legal panels of both PetroChina International (London) Company Ltd and Petroineos Trading Limited.

The appointment is to the companies' global full services legal panel, covering Europe, Russia/CIS, Africa and China, and includes the following specific areas: Commodity Trading; Regulatory and Compliance; Shipping and Shipping dispute resolution; Corporate: Midstream M&A; General Corporate Advisory; Trade Finance; LNG Project; Refinery EPC; Dispute Resolution; Brexit; Data Protection; IT contracts and Employment.

PetroChina London, the subsidiary of PetroChina International, is the trading arm of PetroChina Group and has successfully developed a vertically integrated oil, gas and LNG operation centre in Europe (London) and Africa across each of the refining, trading, sales, storage and shipping sectors.

Petroineos, an integrated energy and commodity trading company based in London (a subsidiary of PetroChina International (London) Company Limited), serves an international customer base in the supply of crude oil to refineries and the trading and marketing of refined products. The company also provides freight, insurance, financing, and storage services to consumers and industrial commodity end users.

The pitch team was led by Head of Energy, Transport and Infrastructure in the UK Charles July, together with a team comprised of lawyers from offices in Beijing, Europe, Russia and Africa regions.
