Sydney—Dentons' commitment to diversity and inclusion has again been recognised with the Firm awarded Silver Employer status at the Australian Workplace Equality Index Awards 2019.

The Awards, held at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney on 24 May, recognise Australia's top organisations for LGBTI Inclusion based on the results of the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI).

Australia Region Chair and Chief Executive, Doug Stipanicev said the Firm was delighted to be named as a Silver Employer, after being named as a Bronze Employer in 2017 and 2018.

"Dentons is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion both in Australia and globally. We work hard to ensure that we have policies in place to support a diverse, inclusive and flexible workplace; one where all of our employees feel valued and connected.

"LGBTI inclusion is one of our core focus areas, along with gender, culture, disability and flexibility. The fact that we have moved from a Bronze to a Silver Employer shows the progress we have made in this space."
