Dentons Canada has achieved Mansfield Rule 4.0+ Certification in an effort to increase and sustain diverse and inclusive leadership in the legal industry.

The Mansfield Rule Certification is a key measure of inclusion in the legal industry, recognizing law firms that have ensured at least 30 percent of underrepresented groups are considered for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities, and senior lateral positions. Underrepresented groups include women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities. Beyond the baseline certification requirements, Mansfield Certification Plus status indicates firms have successfully reached at least 30 percent underrepresented lawyer representation in a notable number of their current leadership roles. Dentons Canada has achieved both the baseline and the “plus” status in the 4.0 certification process.
