London—Dentons has advised the syndicate of underwriters, BNP Paribas, CIC Market Solutions, Mizuho, MUFG, Rabobank and UniCredit, on the issue by RELX of €850 million 3.375% Guaranteed Notes due 2033. The Notes were issued by RELX Finance B.V. and guaranteed by RELX PLC. RELX intends to use the proceeds of the bonds for general corporate purposes.

The deal launched on 13 March 2024 and was significantly oversubscribed, pricing at 87bp over mid-swaps.

RELX is a FTSE-100-listed company and a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers, enabling them to make better decisions, get better results and be more productive.

This deal represents the fifth time Dentons has been appointed as English law counsel to the underwriters on a bond issue by RELX. Dentons' London-based Capital Markets partner, and Head of Banking and Financial Services in the UK, Nick Hayday, who co-led on the transaction, said: "This matter demonstrates our joint debt capital markets and trustee capabilities, as well as our ability to execute deals at pace to take advantage of favourable market conditions."
