As part of our engagement, we may hold monies on your account. These monies will remain in your client account until it is paid out based on your instructions or returned to you. In the unlikely event that the monies are unclaimed, for example, you are uncontactable or untraceable despite our reasonable efforts to return the monies to you, we may apply to transfer the unclaimed monies to the Unclaimed Money Fund maintained and administered by the Law Society of Singapore. If statutory requirements are met, the Law Society will be able to pay the transferred unclaimed monies to you if an application is made within 6 years after the transfer date.
