Balcıoğlu Selçuk Akman Keki Attorney Partnership (“BASEAK”) and Dentons advised three groups of shareholders on Delivery Hero AG’s US$1.1 billion initial public offering on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The offering is reported to be Germany’s biggest technology listing in the last three years. 

Delivery Hero is a European food delivery company, which is active in 42 markets and partners with about 150,000 restaurants. It operates a variety of brands including Yemeksepeti, Lieferheld, Foodora and Foodpanda, through which it either brokers deliveries from restaurants or delivers food to customers’ homes itself by bicycle. The food delivery sector is notorious for stiff competition, with rivals spending large amounts on marketing to achieve a dominant market share in the country.

BASEAK Corporate partners Galip M. Selcuk and Müfit Arapoğlu together with associate Yasemin Hotan Tanyol led on Turkish law matters.
