Dentons, the world's largest law firm, received multiple honors in the annual U.S. News–Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" guide, including 73 "Tier 1" rankings.

"The recognition of our clients and peers as the largest law firm in the world, for this level of practice achievement, is a true honor. I am exceptionally proud of our lawyers and professionals across the US," commented Dentons US Chief Executive Officer Mike McNamara.

In total, Dentons received 162 rankings, including 36 national practice area rankings and 126 local or regional practice area rankings. Of those, Dentons was listed as "Tier 1" in 21 national practice areas and 52 local or regional categories in the 2018 survey.

"Best Law Firms" is an annual guide published by U.S. News that employs a rigorous peer-review process, which includes surveying both lawyers and clients. For the eighth edition of “Best Law Firms,” 13,803 firms in the US were eligible for recognition. This year saw almost 70,000 client submissions as well as roughly 900,000 reviews by peer-attorneys on a firm’s work as a whole in a specific area. As such, these results confirm the level of respect and confidence that Dentons' lawyers instill in peers and clients alike.
