These are mostly funds that regroup investors globally for investment in India or Africa.

During 2018, the Firm’s recent work highlights include assisting a professional collective investment scheme in establishing a fund with a capitalisation of US$8 billion and advising various expert funds and Professional Collective Investment Schemes as local counsel in drafting constitutive documents of the funds investing in various countries.

Recent work highlights 

• Assisting with the setting up of a closed end fund holding a Category 1 Global Business Company. The fund entered into an agreement to acquire hotels in the US in a deal worth more than US$8 billion.
• Assisting in the setting up of various closed end funds authorised as Professional Collective Investment Schemes or Expert Funds in Mauritius, with corpus ranging from 50 million to USD 350 million for the purpose of investing in wide ranging portfolios from equity instruments to real estate projects.
