The desire for work-life balance and non-existent commutes coupled with hyper-connectivity has attributed to a growing trend in special visas and digital nomad permits.

As a part of the guidance process our immigration team has highlighted key obligations of potential BWS permit holders. Pre-qualifying questions include:

• Are you a non-citizen of Barbados?
• Does your employment originate from outside of the country?
• Will multiple family members require remote working permits? 
• Does your annual employment income meet or exceed the US$50,000 requirement?  
• Can you supply proof of valid health insurance coverage for the 12-month period?
