Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces the appointment of Erica Marshall-Forde and Shalini Rose Campbell to senior leadership following its three year anniversary in the region. The announcement coincides with Dustin Delany assuming the key role of Chair and Regional Managing Partner in the Caribbean. Marshall-Forde (Managing Partner – Barbados) and Campbell (Managing Partner Trinidad & Tobago) become the Caribbean’s first women managing partners within the firm.

Both practicing lawyers, they will also actively contribute to high-level regional decision making and advancing the firm’s strategic vision in their respective jurisdictions with focus on practice and sector specialization, innovative talent development, client experience management, inclusion and diversity, and operational efficiency. 

As a key practice leader Marshall-Forde remains the regional Employment and Labour and Real Estate and Property development head. She also maintains her position as co-leader of the firm’s Caribbean-wide Infrastructure and PPP sector group.

Aligning with her new directive, Campbell will continue to serve as the driving force behind business development and growth in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider region in addition to identifying top-tier talent scaling the firm’s Environmental, Energy, and Mergers and Acquisitions practices. Campbell will implement a number of strategies to build-out the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice as a regional co-leader. “The firm’s strong support structure in addition to its commitment to empowerment, innovation and personal development has been the influencing factor in my success thus far.” said Campbell.

In an address to the region, Chair and Regional Managing Partner Dustin Delany stated “We are so fortunate to have so many great leaders. Five out of the six lawyers (83%) who advanced in this year’s promotion cycle are women, reflective of Dentons’ commitment to the advancement of women, gender equality, and inclusion and diversity within the workplace.
