Dentons Partner Konstantin Kroll has joined the Academic Council of HSE University’s Private International Law and International Commercial Arbitration Master’s Program.

The Academic Council is a collegial body that manages an educational program. The Council makes decisions related to program contents and implementation. The Council determines the curricula and approves disciplines’ syllabi, as well as the list of topics for term and graduate papers, and the programs for final state exams.

I think the program presents a unique opportunity for students to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge of current issues in private international law and international commercial arbitration and to become familiar with leading international and Russian experience, not to mention language practice, as a number of academic disciplines, including my project seminar ‘M&A transactions in private international law,’ are taught in English.”

Konstantin Kroll is head of Dentons’ Corporate/M&A practice. He has over 23 years of experience advising corporate clients and financial institutions on complex cross-border transactions in Russia and the other CIS member states. Konstantin has been recognized as a top lawyer in Corporate/M&A by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, The Legal 500, IFLR 1000, Leaders League, Best Lawyers, Pravo.ru-300 and Kommersant. He is triple qualified as an advocate and member of the Moscow Bar Association, a solicitor of Senior Courts of England and Wales, and Irish solicitor (non-practicing). Konstantin is a fellow (FCIArb) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in London and Vice President of the Russian Chapter of the European Branch of CIArb, a member of the ICC Russia (International Chamber of Commerce) Commission on Arbitration and ICC Russia recommended arbitrator, and an accredited arbitrator at the Russian Arbitration Center at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration (RIMA) and the Arbitration Center at the RSPP, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (International and Investment Disputes Panel). Konstantin is a visiting lecturer at Moscow State University, the Higher School of Economics (HSE) and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
