Claudia Thomas has joined Dentons' UK Government and Energy, Transport and Infrastructure teams as Counsel. She brings more than a decade of experience as a government lawyer, advising Her Majesty's Government on the financing of nuclear and renewables projects, and other regulatory and legislative matters in the energy sector. More recently Claudia was part of the UK's EU exit negotiations team, and led a team of lawyers at Deputy Director level in the Cabinet Office, advising on trade and international law matters connected to EU exit.

Prior to joining Government Claudia was an associate at a US law firm in London, specialising in international energy projects. At Dentons, Claudia will work in the firm's Energy and Government teams, bringing her detailed understanding of government policy making, public law and a wide range of energy sector transactional and regulatory matters.
