Riyadh—Dentons, the world's largest global law firm, has further strengthened its Corporate practice in the Middle East with the relocation of Melbourne-based partner, Hamish Walton, to the region.

Hamish Walton joins us as a senior legal consultant. He draws on more than 30 years' experience in advising clients on high-profile, complex corporate transactions worldwide across a range of industries including financial institutions, education, renewable energy, life sciences and healthcare, media, entertainment and sports, technology, automotive and real estate. Hamish is an acknowledged expert in public and private M&A and joint ventures. He has detailed experience in assisting clients on major cross-border M&A transactions.

Hamish was previously located in the Middle East, working for international law firms from 2008-2017, and has recently been advising on high-profile matters in the Middle East region such as, advising the Ministry of Investment (MISA) on seven of 12 economic support deals that formed part of its first wave of projects supported by the Private Sector Partnership Reinforcement (Shareek) Programme, with an aggregate project value of US$51 billion.
