Dentons Paris accompanied Bpifrance Large Venture in a new round of financing of Aqemia of 30 million euros that completes a 30-million euros fund raising carried out last year, bringing the total amount of its Series A to 60 million euros.

The round is led by Wendel Growth, with the renewed participation of Bpifrance Large Venture, Eurazeo, and Elaia.

Aqemia, a Paris-based start-up specializing in the search for therapeutic molecules using artificial intelligence, will use this new financing to accelerate the growth of its portfolio of proprietary therapeutic projects, and develop its platform for designing therapeutic molecules using generative artificial intelligence and theoretical physics.

This transaction will enable the biotech to cover new therapeutic fields such as immunology, inflammation, or central nervous system disorders, among others.
