Madrid—Madrid-based partner Jabier Badiola has been elected to the Europe Board at Dentons following a vote of the Europe Partners. His term of office commences with immediate effect and finishes on June 30, 2026.

The Europe Board is a governance body that provides oversight to the Europe CEO and leadership team, and reviews key strategic priorities, initiatives, and policies on behalf of the Dentons partnership across Continental Europe and Central Asia.

Jabier Badiola has been a partner at Dentons since 2015 and has led the Spanish practice as Managing Partner since 2020, where he successfully transformed the office and brought on several new partners.  In addition to his new role as Board Member, he will continue to serve as Spain Managing Partner and since and to advise clients as Head of the Banking and Finance practice in Spain. Recognized as a leading banking and finance lawyer by Chambers Europe and Chambers Global, he advises clients on a wide range of syndicated lending transactions, including acquisition financing, structured finance, project finance, corporate lending and debt restructuring.
