Washingtonian magazine has named four Dentons lawyers to its annual Washington, DC’s Top Lawyers list, published in the December 2024 issue.

This list of the District’s top legal talent is compiled and voted on by Washington area lawyers. Dentons’ honored lawyers are:

Ranked by Chambers USA since 2005, Alberts is well-known for representing clients—particularly with respect to distressed health care and financial institutions—in high-value bankruptcy cases, investigations, workouts, litigation and sale transactions. Washingtonian has named him to this list every year since 2011.

A former national chair of Dentons' highly regarded Health Care group and a leader of the global Health Care practice, Fried counsels and represents health plans, physician organizations, hospital groups, pharmaceutical and biotech companies and other health care organizations with regard to federal health care programs and policies. One of the Best Lawyers in America for Health Care Law (2015-2025), Lutz concentrates her practice in the areas of Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement counseling, administrative litigation and clinical research compliance. Weinreich, who succeeded Fried as national chair of Dentons’ Health Care group and served on the Firm’s US board for more than a decade, has been ranked by Chambers USA since 2008. He specializes in health care fraud and abuse and regulatory compliance. Lutz and Weinreich both hold a top-tier Chambers USA designation, and Lutz is a current member of the US board.
