Italian legal publication Legalcommunity has recognized Dentons partners Federico Sutti and Sara Biglieri among the top 50 lawyers in Italy in 2020.

Italy Managing Partner Federico Sutti was recognized for the fifth year in a row. Dubbed “the Grinder” by the legal publication, he was ranked in as a top 10 lawyer in the country. According to Legalcommunity, he divided his time this year between his leadership in handling the challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, and his client work on several major mandates. For example, he advised French company GeoPost in its acquisition of 85% of the express carrier Bartolini (Brt). He also led numerous deals in real estate, such as Orion European Real Estate Fund V’s acquisition of land for the project SeiMilano. He also supported Mediobanca in the transfer of Via Turati 12 from Immobiliare Stampa to Kryalos, and advised on the restructuring of Irplast

In 2020, he attracted strategic lateral hires for Dentons in the Banking and Finance and White Collar Crime practices.

Partner Sara Biglieri was recognized in the ranking for the first time, coming in the 38th position and as one of only five women included in the ranking. Legalcommunity dubbed her “the Tough” and emphasized her professional character and ability to create a strong team spirit. As Head of Dentons' litigation practice in Italy, she has grown her team to five partners, 21 professionals and a turnover of almost €5 million. She was also successful in integrating high-level skills in white-collar crime into the team

Known for leading from the front, she was appointed Head of the Europe Litigation group, one of the Firm’s strategic practices, in 2017.
