The Italian legal publication Legalcommunity has recognized Dentons partners Federico Sutti and Sara Biglieri among the top 50 lawyers in Italy in 2023.

Chairman of the Europe Board and Italy Managing Partner Federico Sutti was recognized for the eighth year in a row as one of the top 10 lawyers in the country. Legalcommunity refers to him as "Il trascinatore" (The dragger) and considers him one of the forerunners of the first generation of Italian legal managers. 

Federico Sutti sits on both the Europe and Global boards of Dentons and is seen as a deal maker in the Real Estate sector. Under his leadership, Dentons’ revenues in Italy continue to grow; over the past year they were up 9 percent. This year, among others, he advised the Protego Fund on the acquisition of a portfolio of six assets and the Orion European Real Estate Fund V on the sale of Six Senses in Rome.

This was the fourth year in a row that Partner and Europe Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution Sara Biglieri was recognized by the publication, moving up two places over last year to a ranking of 31st.

Her team has recently grown to eight partners covering all areas of commercial litigation including white collar crime, garnering her the name "La regina" (The queen) by Legalcommunity. Since she took over leadership of the Litigation practice in Italy in 2016, her team’s revenues have grown 420 percent.
