Our January 13 CLE webinar brought our audience two insightful presentations developed for in-house counsel.
Los Angeles Partner Michael Duvall was joined by Los Angeles Managing Associate Kelly Graf and Javier Rivera, In-House Counsel for Southern California Edison, to discuss Legal Ethics in a Virtual World. This timely session was submitted for 1 hour towards the Ethics specialty CLE requirement and covered issues related to data privacy and cloud storage, maintaining the privacy of privileged conversations when Siri and Alexa may be listening, social media best practices and recent state bar opinions. Following our first presentation, we heard from Pittsburgh Shareholder Alexa Forte and Silicon Valley Associate Mengci Shao regarding Immigration Compliance during COVID-19 and What to Expect Under the Biden Administration. This course provided an overview of the immigration landscape during the pandemic and discussed what can be anticipated under the Biden Administration. It also focused on the various immigration compliance issues during the pandemic, temporary flexible policies offered by the different government agencies, best practices, and enforcement trends. This topic was submitted for 1 hour of general credit.
CLE credit for the live webinars is being applied for in Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, and Texas. Credit for all other states must be applied for and submitted by individual attendees. Compliance with each state's MCLE requirements is the sole responsibility of the attendee.
* Dentons can only issue CLE credit for attendance during the live broadcast of the webinar. Credit for viewing a pre-recorded session is the responsibility of the individual.
