Dentons’ Disability/Accessibility Affinity Group and co-chairs Belinda May, Katie Krutzsch and Max Carr-Howard kicked off its new storytelling series, “The Transformational Power of Disabilities” with the inspirational and personal story of Max Carr-Howard, Washington, DC partner and Global co-Chair of the Firm’s Global Compliance and Investigations Team. Max shared his story of living with an unseen disability, the challenges he faced, the transformation he experienced, and how it made him who he is today. With the support of many, Max redefined what was possible and made a new future for himself -- like many others at Dentons and around the world.

Storytelling is widely embraced by the inclusion and diversity community to be the best way to promote allyship and awareness. Our storytelling series is designed to authentically share the experiences of the disabled and to create space deeper understanding and for an ever-more inclusive environment.
