Has your favorite book been removed from local libraries? The restriction and removal of books in libraries and bookstores–including literary classics–have come front and center in the culture wars. Experts will discuss the dynamic legal landscape, practical challenges for librarians, bookstores, authors and publishers, and leave attendees with resources to help stay up to date.

Dentons panelists will be joined by our special guests - Deborah Caldwell-Stone is Director of the American Library Association's Office for Intellectual Freedom and the Freedom to Read Foundation where she advocates for library patrons' rights. Bunmi Emenanjo is a passionate author, lawyer, and curator of globally diverse children’s literature through her company, Atlas Book Club. Terry Hart is General Counsel for the Association of American Publishers, and is recognized for his work with the US Copyright Office and his Copyhype blog.
