Lexology has announced that three Dentons partners from the Firm's Canada, UKMEA and Europe regions have been awarded a Client Choice Award for 2016.

Lexology describes the Client Choice Awards as being established in 2005 to "…recognise those partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client service they provide. • Noor Kapdi, South Africa
  Client Choice for "Energy & Natural Resources" (Client Choice Guide – International 2016)
  
  Noor Kapdi has won a Client Choice Award for the third consecutive year. He leads the Dentons team in South Africa and is a member of the Global Banking and Finance, Global Corporate and Global Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance practice groups. Noor is an experienced commercial lawyer with particular expertise in oil and gas and private equity and has extensive experience in all aspects of the oil and gas upstream, midstream and downstream sectors.

• William (Bill) K. Jenkins, Alberta
  Client Choice for "M&A" (Client Choice Guide – USA & Canada 2016)
  
  Bill Jenkins, Co-Head of Dentons' Mergers and Acquisitions practice in Canada, is based in Calgary and advises on the structuring and implementation of mergers and acquisitions, financings and joint ventures. Bill was the presiding member of the Dentons Canada partnership board from 2009 to 2015 and participated in the formation of Dentons, serving as the first Global Vice Chair of Dentons from Canada during the period 2012 to 2015.

  Abai Shaikenov is a partner in Dentons’ Almaty office. He has been active advising clients throughout Kazakhstan and the CIS for more than 16 years. Abai’s primary practice areas are banking and finance, mergers & acquisitions and real estate. His work extends to advising on multilateral institution financing, structuring of transactions, foreign investment and various corporate matters related to investing and doing business in Kazakhstan.
