Dentons is honoured to have received an impressive 31 awards in Best Lawyers’ recently-released annual ranking of leading lawyers in Canada.

This year, Best Lawyers named Dentons “Corporate and Commercial Litigation Law Firm of the Year,” one of the highest honours bestowed upon a top firm, which clearly demonstrates the exemplary work by our litigation team across Canada.

We also received eight awards across the provinces where Dentons received the highest number of lawyers ranked in each practice area, including being top listed for Entertainment Law in BC; Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Energy, Insolvency and Financial Restructuring, and Mining in Alberta; and for Public Procurement in Québec. At the city level, the Firm received 11 more awards in areas such as Entertainment, Energy, Public Procurement and more.

Over and above our firm rankings, 138 of our talented Canada-based lawyers were named leaders in their respective practice areas, 10 of whom joined the ranks for the first time. The “Lawyer of the Year” was awarded to eight Dentons lawyers, who earned the highest overall peer-feedback for their specific practice area and geographic region.
